New animatic
Since the new semester is approaching and time's getting less, we decided to cut a few difficult scenes out of the movie that are not particularly important for the story-line. That way we hope to achieve more quality rather than quantity.

Animation Progress
We are making progress. Scene 28 for our 10% hand-in next week is about to be rendered out and to get composed. This was supposed to happen on Monday, but we ran into a few problems with nCloth. It simply didn't give us the results we wanted. So I ended up remodeling Umb's canopy to make it match the shape, since it is not moving and I also created a blendshape for the pillow to make it match and follow the animation.
The second problem appeared when I added the 2D drops (animated by Rossie) to the playblast you can see above. It was supposed to be just a test, to make sure it's gonna work out, before the final composeting starts a week before the deadline. Well, as a metter of fact it didn't work. The camera movement was supposed to follow the drop down to create a suspense before the drop hits her and trigers the nightmare. Unfortunately the camera movement is simply too slowly and the drop looks dead, falling down while not moving at all. I asked Rossie for a fee more inbetweens for the fall, a wobbeling to bring it more alive while falling. Let's see how that looks in the finished comp.
A backup-plan would look as following:

Scene 28
That's the animation for our first scene we're gonna finish up for our Christmas hand-in. Quit a pressure to call something I animated so early done for the final project, but I don't really have a choice.

Hallway textures
These are the most recent textures for the Hallway. The rug may have to be changed as some feel that it could look better. The lighting is basic in this render and it took 40 minutes to be chrnued out...
Also, A big thanks to Gary Welsh for his help :)
